D.I.Y Pancake Breakfast
Melissa shares: I might not be a champion Pinterest parent for the majority of the year, but when the holidays roll around, I suddenly feel inspired to sprinkle some freaking holiday magic on pretty much everything - including food. I mean, why make boring old plain pancakes when you can make super charged Thanksgiving-themed turkey pancakes that ALSO have an extra boost of protein?! My kids genuinely adore them (I do too), and they're so easy to make. We're big fans of Healthy Height products over here. My kids may not need a height boost (both are in the 95th percentile for their ages!), but they are both incredibly picky eaters - and Healthy Height shake mixes help them get the protein and key nutrients they need. We make the yummiest smoothies with them, but they can be added to so many different foods and recipes.
- Your favorite pancake recipe
- 4 scoops Healthy Height vanilla
- Mandarin orange
- Pineapple chunks
- Slice fruits
- Add 4 scoops of Vanilla shake mix to your favorite pancake mix or recipe
- Cook like you normally would, but make a set of larger circles and a set of smaller ones
- Let pancakes cool
- Use strawberries, banana slices, mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, and raisins to decorate
